Connecting to the mobile radio via the front RJ45, or rear multi-pin connector (depending on radio model) the BT dongle allows connection of a BT enabled headset, and a BT wireless PTT simultaneously. The dongle itself is also fitted with a PTT. If operating a wireless PTT the range from the dongle can be up to 10M.
